Savegame not working

For Windows Vista and later, the savegame location is not writable for all users.

Set read and write permissions[1]
  1. Go to savegame location.
  2. Right click on folder "Spieler".
  3. Open Properties.
  4. Open Tab "Security".
  5. Add "Everyone" to the list.
  6. Grant this group read and write permissions.

Changes will take effect after closing the window.

Fullscreen with black border

The game's resolution is fixed to 640x480 pixels. The rest of the output is filled with black pixels before being sent to the monitor.

Adjust output resolution and monitor scaling
  1. Right click on the shortcut "Fürst Marigor und die Tobis".
  2. Check "run in 640x480 screen resolution".

This temporarily changes the signal that is sent to the monitor to 640x480 pixels.

  1. Open the settings of your monitor.
  2. Change scaling mode to "enlarged" (keeps aspect ratio) or "fullscreen" (stretches the image to fill the screen completely).
