Increase movement speed

Change move speed with memory editor^[2]
Install Cheat Engine. Download the Cheat Table. Start the game. Double-click the Cheat Table and open with Cheat Engine. Open the game process from the File menu. Activate the checkbox beside Move Speed Mod. Double-click on the value of x? to set the default speed value.

Go to the installation folder. Open `system.cfg`. Change `cl_fov = 52` to a value between 25 and 80.

Borderless fullscreen windowed

Enable fullscreen window^{[citation needed]}

Go to the installation folder.
Open system.cfg.
Add these lines at the bottom:

r_Fullscreen=0
r_FullscreenWindow=1

Anisotropic filtering (AF)

Change AF samples^{[citation needed]}

Go to the configuration file(s) location.
Open game.cfg.
Change the following values as needed.

Run game in Steam Big Picture mode
In Steam go to View -> Big Picture Mode in the toolbar at the top. Play the game, performance should be fixed.
