Issues unresolved

Forced Windows 98/ME compatibility mode (Steam)

Upon launching the game, the included installscript.vdf will always create a registry entry that forces the game to run in the aforementioned compatibility mode, even when it isn't necessary, possibly making Steam Overlay unusable.
Deleting the registry entry, editing or deleting installscript.vdf, or setting any of the aforementioned files to read-only all have no effect.
Running the game via Typhoon.exe bypasses the forced compatibility mode, and the game can be added as Non-Steam Game in order to play it with the Steam Overlay. Play Time will not be logged.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/283350/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (283350) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
  2. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
