Originally created during the development of an early version of Beyond Good & Evil 2, before being cancelled and having its development restarted from scratch several years later. The LyN engine was then re-purposed for TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled and Rabbids Go Home. The engine is heavily based on the Jade engine.
