Command Console

Enable Command Console
  1. Follow the guide to download and set up IGCSInjector
  2. Make sure that IGCSInjector and it's files are copied to "<path-to-game>\EDFIR\Binaries\Win64\"
  3. Open "IGCSInjector.ini", and change "Process=" to "Process=EDFIR-Win64-Shipping.exe"
  4. After the game launches, open "IGCSInjector.exe" to enable the command console.

Notes

The reason using the command console injector is required is because the game automatically overwrites INI files, and changes console variables that handle graphics/resolution settings on startup, when changing in-game settings, and when entering gameplay from the main menu. They also need to be re-entered every time the game is launched.

Render Percentage

Change Render Percentage
  1. See Command Console to enable the Command Console.
  2. Press the "Tilde" key to open the command console
  3. Enter "r.ScreenPercentage 100", replacing "100" with your desired screen percentage

Notes

The reason this is recommended is because the game defaults to an "r.ScreenPercentage" value around the 60-75% range, which makes the game not display at the chosen screen resolution. You can go lower to upscale from a lower resolution while keeping the in-game UI at the chosen screen resolution, or you can go higher to downsample from a higher resolution, which serves as a form of Anti-aliasing (AA).

Anisotropic filtering (AF)

Change Render Percentage
  1. See Command Console to enable the Command Console.
  2. Press the "Tilde" key to open the command console
  3. Enter "r.MaxAnisotropy xx", replacing "xx" with your desired anisotropic filtering mode

Notes

r.MaxAnisotropy values include 1, 2, 4 (Default), 8, and 16.

Custom Resolution

Change In-Game Resolution
  1. See Command Console to enable the Command Console.
  2. Press the "Tilde" key to open the command console.
  3. Enter "r.SetRes 1920x1080", replacing "1920x1080" with your desired screen resolution

Notes

The game by default uses Vert- FOV Scaling, which requires adjusting the FOV when using a wider/narrower horizontal aspect ratio. See Field of View.

Field of View

Change Field of View
  1. See Command Console to enable the Command Console.
  2. Press the "Tilde" key to open the command console
  3. Enter "fov xx", replacing "xx" with your desired FOV.

High Frame rate

Change (or unlock) framerate cap
  1. See Command Console to enable the Command Console.
  2. Press the "Tilde" key to open the command console
  3. Enter "t.MaxFPS xx", replacing "xx" with your desired framerate cap.

Notes

"t.MaxFPS 0" doesn't disable the framerate cap. Use "t.MaxFPS 9999" if uncapping the framerate is desired.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/1039890/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (1039890) may differ in some cases.
