Key points

This game does not run on modern machines very well and is difficult to setup. May require techniques outside of the compact installer to fully install and run. See Essential improvements.
No widescreen support and very limiting resolution options and cannot be edited or hacked to run higher. Window mode is also buggy.

How to install on modern machines

The below steps are a general guideline for installing this game and may not guarantee to work for every modern machine.
Windows Vista/7/8/10[citation needed]
  1. Have all six discs ready and insert disc one into a CD/DVD drive and open it via (My) Computer.
  2. Highlight every file and copy them into a temporary empty folder somewhere on your local disk (typically C: Drive).
  3. Right-click Setup.exe from within the temporary folder and tick Run as administrator and compatibility mode for Windows 95.
  4. Save, apply, and double-click this executable. Choose Full installation and choose a folder for the setup utility to install the game to. Make it short as there is a character limit.
  5. Shortly, the setup will ask for disc two. You can safely eject disc one and put disc two in. The setup will automatically detect disc two as long as it is inserted into the same drive disc one was in.
  6. Repeat for disc three, four, five and the final sixth disc.
  7. Click exit, then exit again and eject disc six.
  8. Go to Druuna.EXE and apply the same fixes as you did in step three.

Basic controls

Starting up[citation needed]
  1. Press Tab to skip the intro FMV sequences.
  2. Press Alt to pause the game, click with the mouse to continue.
  3. Use the arrow keys to navigate the main menu, and Enter to select.
  4. Press Esc twice to exit the game.
