Drakan: 10th Anniversary

Fixes the majority of known bugs and adds new graphic effects based on an additional DirectX 9 rendering engine.
Deprecated and abandoned. Causes graphical glitches and low frame rates. Use dgVoodoo 2 wrapper (included with Drakan Community Patch) instead.

Developer mode

This allows you to select and play player-created levels when you select New Game in the main menu.
Enable Developer Mode[citation needed]
  1. Hold Shift while opening the game via double clicking the game icon.
  2. In the Riot Engine Options window, click the Developer tab.
  3. Check Enable Developer Mode. Now click OK to start Drakan.
  4. To select difficulty, hold Ctrl when you click New Game, otherwise it defaults to Normal difficulty.

Notes

If this doesn't work, disable Dithering from the Graphics tab in the Riot Engine Options and then enable it again after getting out of Alwarren. Dithering is useless except on ancient hardware that couldn't support 32-bit color modes.
