Anti-aliasing (AA)

Disable TSSAA using console command
Open console by pressing ~. Type in r_antialiasing 0 to disable anti-aliasing. Notes: This solution has to be repeated at the start of each session.

Disable TSSAA by editing config file (permanent)
Navigate to %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\id Software\DOOMEternal\base\ Open DOOMEternalConfig.cfg with text editor. At the end of the file add a line r_antialiasing "0".

"No physical devices" error when starting up the game

Decensor Doom and Doom II

Doom Eternal includes censored WADs of Doom (PSN edition) and Doom II (Bethesda.net edition), similar to the Doom 3: BFG Edition versions.^{[citation needed]}

Add the original wad files manually.[citation needed]
Go to <path-to-game>\base\classicwads\. Copy the original DOOM.WAD and DOOM2.WAD files into the folder and overwrite when prompted.

Unlock classic pistol

Use console command
Start the game, and minimize it. Open the Doom Eternal cheat table in Cheat Engine. Enable Unrestrict Console Commands/Cvars & Bind. Open the game's console via ~, and type g_enablePistol 1.
