Key points

Since 1 October 2019, the game is free-to-play. It's entitled "Destiny 2: New Light", available on Steam.^[2] Supports cross-saves between platforms (No cross-play yet). The version contains elements from expansion packs: story campaign of Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and elements of Forsaken expansion.

The game currently is not playable on Ryzen 3000 series CPUs without a firmware/BIOS update with AGESA 1.0.0.3ABA/ABB or newer, or AMD Chipset Drivers 1.07.29 or newer.^[3]

DLC and expansion packs

Expansion Pass	Grants access to the game's first and second expansions upon release. Now included as part of New Light.
Destiny 2: Forsaken	Grants access to the Forsaken campaign and associated content.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep	Grants access to the Shadowkeep campaign and associated content.

Version differences

Editions

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game, the expansion pass, and a special emblem, sword, and emote.

The Limited Edition is the Digital Deluxe Edition packaged in a Cabal-themed box and steelbook case.

The Collector's Edition includes everything in the Digital Deluxe edition plus several physical bonuses.

Destiny 2 Forsaken includes the first two DLC and the Forsaken expansion.

How to set your HDR settings correctly

Adjust SDR brightness first then HDR settings. In HDR settings adjust white point as instructed on the screen and leave black point at default.^{[citation needed]}

Edit cvars.xml.
The XML file has all keybindings under the appropriate <namespace name="key bindings"> block
The syntax is key binding 1, exclamation mark, key binding 2: <cvar name="primary_weapon" value="1!mouse wheel up" />

Notes

As described in the reference Reddit thread, it is possible to assign actions not possible in the game's options screen, such as:
