Version differences

Death's Gambit: Afterlife is an enhanced version that add new content to experience on top of the original game, including 10 new levels, over 30 weapons, 5 new bosses, mechanical overhauls, and more. It was released as a free update on September 30, 2021.

Issues fixed

Heavy stuttering and lag with GSync monitors

On a Gsync monitor, you could experience extreme stuttering and lag

Fix refresh rate

Open Nvidia Control Panel.
Click on "Manage 3D settings" in the 3D Settings tab, on the left side.
Click on "Program Settings" in the window on the right.
Click on "Add", and search for Death's Gambit in the list of recent programs. If you can't find it in that window, search for the exe file, called deathsgambit397.exe in the game folder (steamapps/common/Death's Gambit). When you find the game, click on "Add Selected Program".
Under "Specify the settings for this program", search for "Monitor Technology", change it to "Fixed Refresh". Apply and close Nvidia Control Panel.
