Dead Rising 2 is a singleplayer and multiplayer action survival horror game developed by Blue Castle Games and published by Capcom.
The game was first released for Windows on September 28, 2010.
Steam version DRM switched from Games for Windows Live to Steamworks.[2]

- Tested with a retail, "Złota Edycja" Cenega-distributed GFWL-enabled copy. After installing the game, launching the game without the disc, a SecuROM prompt appears, asking to re-insert the disc. ZDPP-encrypted files were nowhere to be found.

- Verified by comparing the proposed fix and the standard stereo configuration and found there was a noticeable difference in audio volume and clarity.
Various other console-to-PC ports that use XAudio2 from around the time (see Silent Hill Homecoming) have similar bugs related to downmixing from 5.1, so I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happens here.
