Cannot access menus

By default, keyboard key to access menu in-game is F1 (DualShock square button, Xbox X button).
Disable GeForce Experience share feature[1]
  1. Open GeForce Experience
  2. Open settings.
  3. From general settings, disable "In-game overlay"

Notes

Make certain that you do not have any other software interfering with the game, especially with overlay and hotkeys using F1
Change keybinding for menu[2]
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Open config.txt.
  3. Locate pad_square = f1 and add in desired key to same line e.g. pad_square = f1,key_f for F.

FPS Drops and Text Delays

This fix is for computers that have Nvidia graphics cards
Disable GeForce Experience share feature[3]
  1. Open Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Go to "Manage 3D settings"
  3. Go to "program settings"
  4. Select or add "dangan3win.exe"
  5. Check if GPU settings are using the dedicated graphics card in the computer, if not change it to do so
