It is possible to hack the correct FOV using a HEX editor. On HxD click on Search, change the Tab to Hex-Values and Search for 35 FA 0E 3C. That number will appear 5 times. Replace only the last one with 35 FA 38 3C (21:9) or EF F4 38 3C (32:9)

Downsampling

Use Unreal 4 resolution scale[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Engine.ini with preferred text editor.
  3. Add the following to the end of the file:

    r.ScreenPercentage=100
  5. Change 100 to your desired value. 200 means double the dimensions from resolution selected in settings menu.
  6. Save the changes and start the game.

Ultra-widescreen

  • Open Lava-Win64-Shipping.exe in your preferred hex editor.
  • Find and replace 3B 8E E3 3F with the following based on your desired resolution:

  • Set the Search Direction to “All”
  • Select Replace All
  • Click OK to confirm and then click Save (Ctrl+S) and you’re done.

  • Open Lava-Win64-Shipping.exe in your preferred hex editor.
