Xbox Adaptive Controller on Wikipedia

The Xbox Adaptive Controller is a specialized game controller released by Microsoft on September 4, 2018.

The controller was made specifically for people with disabilities, making video games more accessible to this group of people. The controller has a series of 3.5mm aux ports and two USB Type-A ports for attaching the expansion parts, which vary depending on user need.

As it is a Xbox-compatible controller, it is a native XInput device. The Xbox Adaptive Controller has many optional expansion parts from various manufacturers (see Expansions), but it cannot be used on its own without one of those expansion parts. As with the Xbox Wireless Controller, it is compatible with the Xbox Accessories app on Windows.
