Controller variations
- Microsoft released Microsoft SideWinder Game Pad 2.0 on September 11, 2001, and controller was compatible with Windows 98, 2000, and ME. It did not have a pass-through feature, which meant that additional joypads or joysticks could not be used without unplugging the SideWinder. However, it did have a modern USB connection in place of previous version's Gameport.
