  1. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Codemasters\Colin McRae Rally 3
  2. Change the Height and Width values in Decimal mode.
Widescreen fix (32-bit)[3]
  1. Download and install Cheat Engine.
  2. Run the game and minimize it.
  3. Run Cheat Engine and open the Rally3_PC.exe process.
  4. Change "Value type" to "String" and type 640x480x32.
  5. Click on "First Scan".
  6. Click on the result and press Ctrl+B.
  7. Replace the 80020000E001 value with:
    • 00050000D002 for 1280x720
    • 000500000003 for 1280x768
    • 000500002003 for 1280x800
    • 000500000004 for 1280x1024
    • 560500000003 for 1366x768
    • A00500008403 for 1440x900
    • 400600008403 for 1600x900
    • 400600000004 for 1600x1024
    • 900600001A04 for 1680x1050
    • 800700003804 for 1920x1080
    • 80070000B004 for 1920x1200

  8. Go back to the game and set 640x480x32 resolution.

'Notes

When you run the game next time, the resolution will remain but the color depth will be set back to 16-bit, so you'll have to do this process after every launch if you want to play this game at 32-bit color depth.
