Issues fixed

Problem launching the game

Use dgVoodoo2. Best solution for Windows 10 or newer.
Download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2 and extract the archive. Copy `dgVoodooCpl.exe` to game folder. Open the `MS\x86` folder and copy all files to game folder. (optional) Run `dgVoodooCpl.exe` in game folder and unmark dgVoodoo Watermark in DirectX. Run game

Disable visual themes (Windows 7)^[3]
Right-click the shortcut of the game Click on Properties and show Compatibility Enable "Disable visual themes" and apply

Reduce hardware acceleration (Windows XP)^{[citation needed]}

If you experience slowdowns when playing videos, please reduce the audio hardware acceleration level:

Press ⊞ Win+R, type dxdiag and press ↵ Enter.
In the "Sound" tab, lower the acceleration to Standard.
Exit and restart your game.

Add the game to the DEP exclusion list^{[citation needed]}
Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties. Choose Advanced system settings, then click on the Advanced tab. Click the first Settings... button. In the Data Execution Prevention tab, choose the "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" option and add the game executable below. Apply all changes and start the game again.

Frozen cutscenes (Windows 7 or newer)

Run the game as admin first^[4]
Right-click shortcut -> Properties Under "Compatibility", set to "Windows XP" or "Windows 95".

Crash after opening the gate

Set compatibility mode to Windows 95^[5]
Right-click the .EXE or shortcut for the game and choose the Compatibility tab. Set Compatibility to Windows 95.
