This fix only works on a very specific version of the game. It is not compatible with the global region Steam release. Attempting super-sampling has no effect as internal render is upscaled from 720p. However, GPU image sharpening combined with GPU scaling from a native 720p render can somewhat improve the graphical fidelity of the lower resolution image.
