Persona 3 Portable is a singleplayer cinematic camera and isometric JRPG game developed by P-Studio, ported by Preapp Partners and published by Sega. It is the part of the Persona series, a spin-off to the Megami Tensei series.
Persona 3 was first released on PlayStation 2 in 2006 and received an expanded version titled Persona 3 FES, which features an epilogue to the original story titled The Answer, on the same platform the following year. The game was later heavily reworked and released on PlayStation Portable in 2009 as Persona 3 Portable.
This release is an updated port of the PlayStation Portable version, featuring high resolution rendering, upscaled pre-rendered backgrounds, a quick save function and expanded text languages support.

They worked with us on elements that did not exist within the original high-resolution data or that needed to be reworked, which was a very difficult and painstaking process. When we projected the game screen on a large TV in the conference room to check on the finished product, the characters and backgrounds on the field were beautifully done, and everyone in the room couldn’t help but be impressed."
