Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution is the second standalone expansion pack for the 2009 strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, and this time uses a separate executable. It introduces the Imperial Guard faction, new units, and new singleplayer campaigns.

The Retribution version of The Last Stand multiplayer mode is also available in a cheaper, standalone version, which is compatible with post-launch DLC.

The game was migrated to Steamworks online services in first in a beta branch on August 11, 2014[3], and on the main branch on September 4, 2014.[4] The GOG.com version from July 7, 2023 is isolated from the Steam playerbase and can only be used to connect to GOG Galaxy users.

The competitive scene is still active, and largely uses the Elite Mod, which includes new content and balancing.
