The parameters need to be changed in fallout_default.ini in game directory, not fallout.ini in My Documents.
Talk:Fallout: New Vegas
I was not able to fix microstutter/low framerate with NVTF - New Vegas Tick Fix.
What eventually worked was New Vegas Stutter Remover: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832?tab=files&file_id=1000019497&nmm=1
I don't really have an issue with this being here per se, but does it really need it? Almost no other guide does this, and it reads more like a wikipedia page or something. Most of the content provided here is to help someone's game run better or find solutions for issues. Just feel that if they wanted to know about the game's history, that could be better found elsewhere.
Quite a few games on here have such descriptions. And to be honest, for a wiki with information of PC games, I kinda expect it to be there.
Mission Mojave: I say remove it, YUP is a far superior alternative anyway.
Jsawyer: Since the scripting in this isn't good, should the article suggest JSawyer Ultimate instead? it has better compatibility. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61592/?
http://modsreloaded.com/alternate-d3d9-fix-for-ati-plus-d3d9gen is the original fix for ATI users for this game
The author actually has a FNV specific solution (precedessor to Game Companion) which WILL let you quit FNV without End Process it.

Thanks for contributing - I can't quite find the info on the page that you mention about end process - can you copy and paste for me?
Is it better to use Fallout Fullscreen or Game Companion for Fallout: New Vegas?
immersive HUD auto-hides HUD elements and show them only when you're in combat, had weapon drawn, etc. Configurable.
There's also the 4GB enabler (ability to use 4GB of mem) and NVSE, which is required by a lot of mods.
4GB enabler http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=35262
NVSE http://nvse.silverlock.org/
If you load a huge number of mods, the 4GB enabler may be necessary to keep things humming.
