The Thrustmaster TX is a racing wheel released by Thrustmaster on December 13, 2013.
A successor to the T500, the TX has a similar dual-belt-and-pulley-driven force feedback, but unlike the T500, it is operates by a less powerful, but more reliable 3.9 Nm brushless motor. The TX also has less range of steering rotation at 900 degree compare to T500's 1080 degree. It had also removed the wheel-base-mounted paddle shifters in favor of the steering-mount paddle shifters. Other features of the T500 were carried over, including the Thrustmaster's proprietary wheel quick release system and hall-sensor-based steering position tracking. There's an additional Mini-DIN port on the back for accessories. Unlike the T500 which is a PlayStation-compatible wheel, the TX is a Xbox-compatible wheel.
The TX comes in two packages; The TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 Italia Edition features a licensed replica of the Ferrari 458 Italia's steering wheel and a 2-pedal T2PA pedal set. The TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition, released in September 2015, features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 3-pedal T3PA pedal set[1]. The standalone wheel base was also released on its own in August 2015[2].
The TX has the PlayStation-compatible model in the form of the T300.
On PC, the TX is compatible with games that support it, but requires to have Thrustmaster's driver to be installed to work. The wheel's settngs can be adjust within the control panel (See Thrustmaster Control Panel).
