Key points
- Supported natively in some games.
- Lacks native XInput support, requiring the use of a XInput wrapper in games that don't support it.
- Controllers can be used wired (via USB-C) or wirelessly with Bluetooth.
General information
Steam
- Opting into the Steam Beta is required for DualSense support in Steam Input.
- Has rumble, trackpad and gyro support. Can also be used over bluetooth.[1]
- Doesn't support the adaptive triggers.
Steam Link compatibility
- Only wired support.[2] Press the PS button+Share to power up and be detected by Steam Link. All buttons are mapped correctly.
- Works without any drivers on any operating system that supports Steam.
- Can be used just to send input from a controller to a PC. Go into Streaming options, hit △ and disable video and audio streaming.
- Won't work great unless you connect it to LAN or a low latency Wi-Fi.
