The SCUF Envision is a game controller released by Scuf Gaming on October 12, 2023.[1]
Just like the previously released Vantage series controllers, the Envision was designed from the ground up, with a symmetrical controller layout. The face buttons and the D-pads use the Omron microswitches. There are 11 additional programmable buttons on the controller, with four back buttons, two side action buttons and five G-keys, and the controller can save up to three built-in profiles. The faceplate of the controller is magnetically attached to the controller itself and can be removed. Unlike previous SCUF game controllers which were console-compatible, the Envision is a PC-only game controller.
Two variants of the controller were made available: the standard model and the Envision Pro. The Envision Pro have rubberized grip, two replaceable thumbstick caps, wireless connectivity via a proprietary Corsair Slipstream USB dongle and 2-step trigger stops. By default, the standard Envision come in black color while the Envision Pro comes in either steel gray or white color models, but customer can get other color choices through Scuf Gaming's customization program when ordering the controller through their website.
The Envision controllers are native XInput controllers, meaning that they are natively supported in games that use the Xinput API. While the side and back buttons can be remapped using the controller alone, the use of the G-keys requires the use of Corsair iCUE software.
