Menu works on newer versions of Windows, but won't enter a race

Use compatibility mode
  1. Browse to the games' executables and do the following for the files <path-to-game>\PMR.exe and <path-to-game>\menu.exe.
  2. Right click on the file and choose "Properties"
  3. Go to the "Compatibility" tab.
  4. Enable the checkbox for "Run this program in compatibility mode for".
  5. Choose "Windows XP Service Pack 2" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Press OK.

After race, game won't enter menu

Use DgVoodoo as renderer
  1. Download dgVoodoo 2
  2. Copy the files dgVoodooCpl.exe, DDraw.dll and D3DImm.dll.
  3. Go to the installation directory.
  4. Paste the files into the installation directory.
  5. Optional: Use dgVoodooCpl.exe to increase resolution or apply other visual improvements.
