The Oculus Touch is a pair of game controllers released by Oculus on December 6, 2016.

Made specifically for the Oculus Rift, the Oculus Touch controllers are 6DoF controllers, and has an analog stick, two triggers and 3 buttons on each controller. In addition, the triggers, face buttons and analog stick are capacitive and is capable of doing partial finger and thumb tracking. The IR rings on the controllers are facing downward.

It was first released as a standalone product, and came with an additional Oculus Sensor. Later batches of Oculus Rift comes with the controllers and the additional Oculus Sensor themselves.

Gamepad Emulation

For Oculus Rift supported games with OVRInput, Oculus Home will map XInput controls onto the Touch controllers automatically. Does not work for OpenVR games.

Touch comes with the connector for a Rock Band VR Guitar Controller in the box.
In order to play Rock Band VR, the Connector is needed to attach to either the PlayStation 4 Fender Stratocaster Guitar, PlayStation 4 Fender Jaguar Guitar, Xbox One Fender Stratocaster guitar and the Xbox One Fender Jaguar Guitar.
