PCSX2
PCSX2 is one of the most popular PS2 emulators. It remains in continual development, with the most recent stable release having come out August 1, 2012. It requires a separate rip of the PS2 BIOS. You can download PCSX2 here.
PCSX2 provides several plugins in the install which should work fine for most users.
