Should we provide information for testing and beta software?

Should we be providing information about running the game on Windows 8 Consumer Preview like at League of Legends? Although it may be useful information for some, Windows 8 is beta software and it's implied that the game may have difficulty running.

Furthermore should we provide pages on games that are currently in Beta? I know League of Legends isn't in beta, but we have a Tribes: Ascend page which is.

Thoughts?

I think it's valid to discuss Windows 8 CP issues and Tribes: Ascend issues as they are both in 'open beta', and are widely available to the public in some form.

However, the way that was posted in the League of Legends page should really be in the talk page, as it does not contain any real information and just clutters the page up. I'll adjust this now.

And what of games in closed beta?

I also think that we might know about a game would be useful, even if there is no playable form of it. For example, I might want to know whether Torchlight II uses Steam Cloud, or if it's a Steamworks game, or whether characters can be stored on a server, etc. Other important information might include the differences between versions, so that we can know which one to pre-order.

I'm currently in the chat and I'm happy to discuss further, and I'm open to any suggestions too.
