Vintage Story is a wilderness survival-sandbox singleplayer and game inspired by eldritch horror themes. The game, developed and published by Anego Studios, is currently in early access.
The founders of Anego Studios, Tyron and Irena Madlener, began development on a standalone version of an earlier mod for Minecraft called Vintagecraft. The standalone early access version of the game was first released for Windows and Linux on 27 September 2016.
An old version of the game is available for free download. The current version remains under active development, following a timeline of Major development / Beta / Release cycle. Mods are also available for everyone through the officially-supported mod website.
